Chill Zone by Finish Line

22-Mar-2013

Chill Zone™ works like magic! Before discarding your rusted chain or giving up on a frozen crank bolt, a rusted derailleur spring, or a seized seat post, give Chill Zone™ a shot. Bike parts that normally need to be replaced can be reconditioned to ride another day.

A special refrigerant propellant freezes metal as low as -50°F/-45°C. This causes contraction of the metal and creates micro-cracks in the rust. A penetrating release agent then breaks down and flushes out the rust. With Chill Zone., most rusted parts will quickly regain full functionality.

After freeing seized or rusted parts, no lubrication is necessary because Chill Zone. leaves behind lubricant and rust inhibitors to protect parts and prevent further corrosion.

Simply spray the rusted part for 10 to 20 seconds and wait 60 to 90 seconds for the release agent to fully wick in and break the rust. For sever rust-welded parts, spray for longer and wait at least five minutes for maximum effect. When rehabbing a bicycle chain, soak one small section at a time. AVAILABLE APRIL 2013

Max Suspension Spray by Finish Line

18-Feb-2013

Over time, fork stanchions become dry, dirty, and noisy. When this happens, a fork loses travel and feels stiff over bumps. Max Suspension Spray is the quick and easy way to maximize the performance of any front or rear shock. Use Max to break in new forks or bring old ones back to life. Max Suspension Spray will eliminate stiction, quiet noisy forks, conditions and protect rubber seals and o-rings, and improve the surface slip of coated stanchions. AVAILABLE APRIL 2013

Colavita/espnW Pro Cycling Team Completes Exergy Tour

30-May-2012

The Colavita/espnW Pro Cycling Team brought a strong team of diverse talents to the inaugural Exergy Tour. The squad included Kathryn Bertine, Joanie Caron, Jamie Bookwalter, Leah Guloien, Moriah MacGregor, Mary Zider, and guest riders Kathryn Donovan and Maria Luisa Calle. Colavita/espnW's newest rider Jasmin Glaesser was also in the Exergy field but racing with the Canadian National Team.

The Exergy Tour was the first of its kind for the women's peloton. All riders, even the most experienced, appreciated the level of detail, courses selected, and top-notch organization. For younger riders, including those on the Colavita/espnW squad, the Exergy Tour offered the opportunity to race in a field where almost have the riders are bound for the Olympics. The squad gained valuable lessons in terms of training, preparation, and race tactics - all of which will be put to use in the upcoming Liberty Classic in Philadelphia on June 3rd.

Profile Design Sync Hydration System

This hydration system comes in four sizes and with two 8-ounce bottles, but you can add as many of these bottles as you want to the belt. The bottle mounts are removable and their positions can be adjusted along the length of the belt, making it easier for you to position them so they don’t collide with your forearms while you run. The bottles snap in to a plastic holster rather than a pocket. They are extremely easy to remove and replace, and feel secure on the belt as you run.
